Program Description

This program includes an education seminar to prepare faculty members and residents to assess and interview prospective family medicine residents, the practical interview period and debrief following. The seminar will involve a review of the literature on best practices in admissions and selection, and provide a foundation on which faculty members can assess and evaluate candidates. Following the interviews, faculty will be asked to reflect on the impact this experience will have on their practice, their role as clinician educators of residents/clinical clerks, and their role as leaders in the field of Family Medicine.
