Program Description

This seminar will be interactive with adequate time for discussion, comments, following speaker’s presentation of the morphological features of each case. The interactive component will comprise at least 25% of the sessions. Clickers are being utilized as a form of interactive discussion and testing.

Target Audience
• Anatomical and General Pathologists
• Postgraduate Residents and Fellows

Learning Objectives
This case-based approach to pathology will go beyond looking at the basic features of the commonly seen entities and delve into the clinical and practical relevance of our diagnoses.

At the end of this session, participants will:

• develop an approach to the diagnosis and reporting of challenging melanocytic and non-melanocytic skin lesions
• identify common pitfalls in the diagnosis and reporting of selected intraoperative consultation cases
• understand the new AJCC and WHO classification of GI neuroendocrine tumors

Program Outline

A question and answer period will follow each presentation. A minimum of 25% of each presentation will be allowed for Q & A.
