INT2345-W - Foundational Training in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)

Program Description

Our programs provide participants with a foundational understanding of IPT for depression treatment and necessary therapeutic skills to conduct communication analysis to improve patients' interpersonal effectiveness, utilize IPT approaches to help patients cope with interpersonal losses, changes, and/or conflicts, and apply relational theories to improve therapeutic communication.

This interactive, online training introduces the theoretical foundations and clinical guidelines for helping patients with depression in the contexts of relational life events. Delivered across three distinct sections, case-based and self-directed learning through eModules combine interactive learning activities with formative feedback, while live webinars help consolidate learning through knowledge check-ins and practice.
